Stoke-o-Sphere: An Earth Day Party

You’ve heard of the stratosphere. You’ve heard of the ionosphere. Now, let us tell you about the stoke-o-sphere! The stoke-o-sphere is the Earth layer that starts at the surface of the water, rock, and dirt we love so much, and ends at the top of the highest air we catch. The stoke-o-sphere is where we recreate, send, live our passions, and get stoked! The stoke-o-sphere is an amazing place, but let it remind us to take care of the Earth that gives us so much. Come celebrate Earth Day with us in the stoke-o-sphere at LOGE!

Adopt a seedling! Suggested donations benefit Juniper Group - Oregon Chapter Sierra Club, our awesome local chapter of a seminal conservation organization.

Grab a drink from our friends 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Brew Dr. Kombucha, and nuun hydration!

Check out live music, booked by Artist Home, from 6-8pm:

The Gossamer Strings is an americana music duo with rich harmonies over beautiful instrumentation on guitar, banjo and mandolin (no, not all three at the same time), and haunting original songwriting by Kyle McGonegle and Liat Lis. They unravel a new story in each song with clear and heartfelt singing that exposes the emotion hidden in the verse. Their tight instrumentation brings each song to another level, as the pair breathes together, not just in their harmonies, but also through their instruments. The pair invites listeners into their world with warm conversation like old friends.

Bill Powers is multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, band leader, music teacher, and radio DJ. Bill is a founding member of Colorado's esteemed old-timey Bluegrass band Sweet Sunny South (defunct in 2010), and the band Honey Don't (original Americana) and The Silvertone Devils (roots rock 5 piece electric band) Bill also performs solo around Bend and Central Oregon and tours solo occasionally as well. He's an award winning songwriter and presents his songs and select covers in his trademark laid back style telling stories and taking listeners on a musical journey that mirrors his own journey from growing up in Mississippi and Missouri to time living in Southern California, Austin, Texas, Paonia, Colorado and now Bend, Oregon.
